James Monxhwedey (born August 20, 1984), is known by his stage name Poppin'. Originally from Liberia, Africa, Poppin' grew up in Harlem, NYC and later moved to Atlanta, Ga and now lives in Southern California. Poppin' decided music was what he wanted to do in life while attended high School. While in college, he worked as a dj remixing some of the hottest albums the entire "Black Album" by Jay-z. His style is a mix between Jay-z and Fabolous with Timbaland or Neptunes beats. His energy and swag is high! His debut singles "6 In The Morning" and "Live It Up" are getting radio play in the States and internet radio worldwide and are doing great things for him. Poppin'uses the music as a way to help people. A dream of his is to go to developing and poor countries to help build schools, housing projects, and raise money for quality medical situations.
